How to boost testosterone

Aahh testosterone the hormone that everybody wants, but nobody is willing to work hard for. Its a steroid hormone , produced in men’s testicles. Testosterone is like the elixir of immortality but taken for granted. But if you’re reading this then it means you’re not taking it for granted, wanna know more? Read on .

What is testosterone

Testosterone is the male sex hormone ( I’m sure you know that) it gives us stronger bones (stronger than women’s), strength, makes us taller, bigger muscles, deep voices, more hair and some even say that testosterone makes men aggressive (I don’t agree with this ). Having optimal levels of testosterone is important for all ages including teenagers and old age. At  the end of the day testosterone is what differentiates us men from the women.

Knowing how to boost your test is essential nowadays because the world is against us men(your probably wondering how). The world is waging war with men, how? Soy!!!! (Some call it soya). Soy (or soya) is basically the the arch enemy of testosterone. (I’ll write a full article about it very soon).Soy decrease testosterone levels in men .

Many men have have reported that their bodies started behaving different after consuming a certain amount of soy. They reported that they expirienced low libido, they were always fatigued ,they were highly emotional, they started developing breasts . Here’s proof of what I’m talking about. Now without any further delay here we go.

1.Lift weights

Many studies have proven that weight lifting has promotes the production of testosterone in both males and females. When you lift weights you force your body to grow and more testosterone is needed.

Resistance exercises such as weight lifting have been proven to boost testosterone levels more when compared to aerobic and weight loss programs. Weightlifting is good for long term and short term. Of course excercise alone boosts testosterone levels but weight lifting is better. Weights makes your body produce more testosterone faster

When you continuously lift weights that are heavy ,you put your body under strain . The strain causes micro tears .Then your body reacts to this strain by adapting . It adapts by  growing stronger muscle tissues. After a while the results start to be visible .

Taking preworkout supplement such as caffeine may further boost your testosterone levels when combined with a good training program. So if you want to boost your testosterone go to the gym and grab a bunch of dumbbells.

2.Avoid stress

High levels of stress (cortisol) can quickly reduce testosterone. As cortisol goes up testosterone levels go down and when testosterone levels go up the cortisol levels go down.

Long term and chronic stress is  dangerous and can lead to many issues in the body such as weght gain. Stress and high cortisol levels can also increase food intake, weight gain and the storage of bad body fat around your organs which then leads to low testosterone levels.

For good and optimal levels of testosterone you should try to avoid or reduce situations in your life.

3.Stop masturbating

Chronic masturbation is one of the most dangerous things you can do to your testosterone levels. Doctors say masturbating is good but at the end of the day the results speak for themselves.

Many men have reported feeling better physically , spiritually and mentally after stopping masturbating for a period of time. This group of men said that not masturbating had somehow improve their lives.

Not masturbating(also called nofap) has many benefits that have been proven by science. Increased testosterone production is one of those many benefits. Your semen has many nutrients that are good for the body but when you fap you waste your precious nutrients that are responsible for testosterone production.

If you want optimal levels of testosterone then you have to stop pmo.

4.Sleep

The ideal amount of sleep varies from person to person but one study found that sleeping only 5 hours per day was linked to a reduction in testosterone levels. Not getting enough sleep is bad for your testosterone.

Although some people seem to be fine with less sleep, research suggests that around 7-10 hours of sleep per night is best for testosterone levels and both long term and short term health.

Make sure you get enough high quality sleep everyday to maintain optimal levels of testosterone.

5.Diet changes

What you eat impacts your testosterone as well as other hormone levels.

If you want to increase your testosterone levels then you have to develop a diet that will aid your new lifestyle. The problem might be in your diet. Many diets these days are just filled with junk foods that destroy testosterone, you need food that is healthy.

Carbohydrate intake also plays a role because research clearly shows that carbs can help optimise testosterone levels during resistance training. Whole foods are good sources of carbs

Fat is one food that is taken for granted. When we hear the word “fat” we immediately think bad things. But there are good fats that are needed by the body. These fats are essential for the production of optimal amounts of testosterone. These fats can be found in whole foods like avacados and nuts.

Eating enough protein can help you maintain optimal and healthy levels of testosterone and aid with fat loss, which is also associated with testosterone. Eat protein rich foods or take a supplement.

Make changes to your lifestyle

If you want to really boost your testosterone levels then you need to be willing to make changes to your lifestyle. You need to avoid soy products, Start lifting weights, stop masturbating and eat protein ,carbs

What are you waiting for? Go out there and make it happen
